Fitness Class Schedule May and June
The University Club Fitness Center announces the beginning of fitness classes. These classes are being offered in May and June 2009, and these classes are available for members at no additional cost. However, due to space limitations members are permitted to register for one fitness class per week so that all members can take advantage of this opportunity.
Members should contact the University Club Fitness Center at 412-648-5961 or see one of the staff during your next visit to the Fitness Center to register.
Class Schedule for May 11th through June 27th
Monday and Wednesday and Friday Classes
6:30-7:30 AM Class: Indoor Cycling
5:30 – 6:20 PM Class: Indoor Cycling
Monday-Wednesday-Friday Classes
Noon – 12:45 PM Class: Pilates
5:30 – 6:20 PM Class: Cardio Kickboxing
Tuesday and Thursday Classes
6:30-7:30 AM Class: Cardio Kickboxing
Noon – 12:45 PM Class: Yoga
4:30 – 5:20 PM Class: Body Sculpting
5:45 – 6:30 PM Class: Indoor Cycling
Indoor Cycling is a 45-60 minute fat burning cardiovascular challenge, using specially designed stationary bikes that simulate outdoor cycling. The instructor guides you through a series of runs, jumps, intervals and climbs. As you pedal, motivating music plays to a set tempo and cadence. (For beginners to advanced.)
Cardio Kickboxing- Get ready to kick, punch and blast away fat while sculpting leaner and tighter muscles. Lots of music and energy make this class a great fit for everyone. We will start with some intense cardio work and finish with some abs and leg work on the floor, to leave you feeling completely worked out and ready for the day.
Pilates is a form of strength training, using your own body weight for resistance. This class will target your core and back.
Yoga is a form of physical activity that includes both the physical and mental states, and involves full body postures to improve muscle tone and flexibility.
